Term Two

The end of Term Two saw a great opportunity for our performance classes, hip hoppers and Contemporary dance students to show all of us their new routines with our MID-YEAR CHARITY CONCERT.

Mid Year Charity Concert

With both schools participating, we managed to raise enough money to sponsor a primary school child through The Smith Family Sponsorship Program. This will help our child Katie, in Year 2, to realise her potential through education. Chosen by The Smith Family, Katie is 8yrs old and enjoys art, and music. Through our sponsorship she will receive direct financial assistance for education-related essentials to help her fit in and belong at school. She will also have access to a critical network of support including tutoring, mentoring and literacy programs - to ensure that Katie is getting the most out of her education.

For more information on this wonderful program go to www.thesmithfamily.com.au

Campbelltown RSL Kids in Concert Event

Goulburn Students performed at the charity event Relay for Life. What a good cause. This performance was voluntary and it was so wonderful to see so many who were eager and keen to put a smile on the faces of the team walkers :)

Our performance classes were also very successful at the local Goulburn Eisteddfod:
8/u Jazz 1st
10/u Tap 1st
10/u Jazz 3rd
12/u Tap 1st
12/u Jazz 2nd & 3rd - 2 dances
12/u Contemporary 1st
13/O Jazz Highly Commended

This is a fantastic result - especially as our performance groups are NOT selective - anyone can join!!! You all put in a great team effort - Well Done!
